Conditions of Purchase

1. Minimum Purchase is 1 Good Dog Block (40x40 pixel block) for $10.00. Feel free to buy as many blocks as you like.
2. You are purchasing a GD Block on a website that will remain live for a minimum of 5 years.
3. Images must be in GIF, PNG or JPEG format and not animated. No obscene, offensive or adult images are allowed.
4. Your GD Block must link to a valid email address or web page beginning with http:// - you will also have the option to link to a non-profit animal organization as a courtesy to them or have no link. No obscene, offensive or adult links are allowed.
5. Unless you are purchasing a gift certificate or a GD Block for a non-profit organization, you will be given the opportunity to preview (or change) your photo as it will appear on the site. You will not be able to change your selected image, link or associated information once you have purchased the GD Blocks, so you must be sure of the image and link that you submit. Changes are only accommodated twice and for reasons such as your site no longer existing, major structural changes to your site, lawsuits, etc...
6. After payment is received your GD Block will be active. Your link, description and image will be reviewed by a live person within 48 hours and periodically following this time.
7. If you choose to pay using a check or money order, please allow at least 1-2 weeks for your payment to clear and your GD Block to be activated. If your mail-in payment is not received within two weeks of committing to purchase, we reserve the right to cancel your order and make the GD Block(s) available for sale.
8. This image will appear for blocks that are in the process of being purchased or held for individuals who are paying with check or money order.
9. There are no refunds once your GD Block is purchased. The price that you pay at the time you buy your GD Block is final and cannot be refunded.
10. When purchasing a Gift Certificate, you will not be able to choose a Good Dog Block at the time of purchase. It will be up to the recipient of the Gift Certificate to select a Good Dog Block and enter all the necessary information. If an individual fails to redeem their gift certificate before all blocks are sold they will forfeit their rights to a block and will not be issued a refund. Paypal's Terms and Conditions regarding the refund of gift certificates supersedes our terms and conditions regarding refunds.
11. The terms that apply for purchasing and redeeming a Gift Certificate also apply to a Good Dog Block Ticket, whether purchased or received under a complimentary basis.
12. No obscene, offensive, adult, illegal images, links or description will be accepted. We decide what is appropriate for the site. If your GD Block is found to represent unacceptable material, your GD Block will be made inactive and you will have two weeks to provide an alternative image, description and / or link. If you cannot provide an alternative within two weeks, your money will not be refunded and you will lose your GD Block.
13. If your GD Block(s) is reviewed and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive, obscene, adult or illegal material then your GD Block will be removed, the space will become publicly available again, and you will not get a refund.
14. You can request your image to be removed at any time but the space will become publicly available again and you will not receive a refund.
15. Although we will not change or remove your image under normal circumstances, we reserve the right to do so under exceptional circumstances such as a court order, lawsuit or public outcry. When a removal happens, the space will become publicly available and you will not receive a refund.
16. You must have the legal right to use the image you provide for your block.
17. There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but it will be minimal.
18. We promise not to sell or misuse any information that you provide us.
19. When you purchase a GD Block featuring a "Virtual Dog", you do not own, nor have any rights to, nor have any responsibility for the actual living dog represented as a "Virtual Dog".
20. Receiving a free copy of Good Dogs (the movie) is dependent upon the sale of all forty thousand Good Dog Blocks available. In the event that forty thousand Good Dog Blocks are sold, you will receive one copy of the movie "Good Dogs", for each individual image displayed in either an individual block or group block. Your "copy" of Good Dogs (the movie) will be delivered to you, via digital download, physical DVD, or by any viewable means designated by us, within twenty-four months of the date that the last Good Dog Block is sold. In the event that you are due more than one copy of the feature film, you will be given the option to either gift your additional copies to one of several non-profit animal welfare organizations or distribute them as you see fit. If and when the feature film Good Dogs is complete, it will be made available to non-profit, animal related organizations to screen as a fund-raiser. Screening priority will be given as outlined in the Terms of Use Agreement. We reserve the right to abandon the movie project or the PSA project at any point, for any reason. But please know that the chances of us abandoning this project are next to nil.
21. When you purchase a GD Block, you do not own any part of this homepage, this site, any and all associated companies, the film Good Dogs (with the exception of your copy) or the "My Dog's Gone Wild" dog companion video series (with the exception of the digital download that is offered as part of your purchase). Through this site you are granted only the right to submit an image and link, which will then be published on a page in the respective space you have paid for.
